Innovative Cedral Durables

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

Fiber cement found a revival in the 1990s. It is composed of sand, cement, and cellulose. After preparation, these materials are mixed in a tank with water and additives. This results in a paste, which is then deposited on a conveyor belt that passes under rollers. The water is partially removed and a semi-rigid film is formed.

Cedral is easy to install, requires no maintenance efforts compared to other exterior coatings. It is perfect for remodeling old facades or new construction.

Advantage

Easy to install: Cedral offers a complete coating solution. Cedral installation is simple: the boards are easy to cut, there is no need to pre-drill them and there is a wide range of profiles to obtain a clean finish.

Factory-applied coloration: Thanks to its layer of high-quality, water-based acrylic paint, our fiber cement boards are 100% waterproof. Cedral offers a wide range of colors that adapt to all the needs of the project.

Low maintenance: Fiber cement is resistant to water, frost, rot, mold, and attacks by bacteria and insects. That is why they have a minimum useful life of 30 years. This means that you don't have to worry at any time, just enjoy your home. Fiber cement sheets can be applied in different ways. It can be placed vertically (Nordic-style) or horizontally (American-style). They can be interleaved to achieve a flat surface or, on the contrary, they can overlap, like roof tiles. They can be ordered in a perfectly smooth finish or in a design that mimics the grains of cedarwood. Finally, they come in a wide range of colors: from white to gray or oak.
