Don’t: Use Harsh Chemicals

When you’re cleaning your roof, avoid shortcuts in cleaning by using bleach on the system. This is because not only can it kill the plants near your home but it can also corrode the metal parts of your roof in the process, causing it to deteriorate earlier than expected and leaving your home vulnerable to leaks.
