There are many techniques and methods that you can use to clean windows and it can be difficult for you to know which is the most effective.

Their job is to clean windows, in this sense, the fast and efficient method they use involves a bucket with a cleaning solution, a sponge or rag, and a squeegee.

Clean tough stains. Exterior windows are especially prone to staining, as they are exposed to constant runoff, minerals, bird droppings, and items that can be covered in dirt and grime. There are some methods you can try to remove stains on the windows inside and out:

Use a cleaner to remove mineral deposits, for example, the CLR product. Dampen a sponge with a cleaner and rub stains on the windows. Rinse that part with water and proceed with the common cleaning.

Drizzle the affected part with pure vinegar and let it sit for at least 5 minutes. Use a sponge or cloth to rub the stain and proceed with common cleaning.

You can remove rough or gritty stains by gently scraping them with a razor.

Remove the labels and stickers. Whether you have kids who love to decorate your windows with stickers or have put on stickers to keep birds from flying there, removing sticky substances from windows can be difficult. However, all you need is a spray bottle filled with water and a plastic rim with a good rim.

Spray the labels with water and let sit for a few minutes.

Hold the scraper against the window at a 45-degree angle and apply gentle pressure. Start at the back of the labels, to do this, scrape up to get them up. Use a towel to clean the water.

Remove and clean the screens. For interior and exterior windows, you should clean the screens every time you clean the windows, which should be done twice a year. Remove the screens and vacuum them to remove dust and dirt.

Use a hose or spray bottle filled with water to lightly spray the screen before and after cleaning.

Using a sponge or a clean cloth, clean them with warm water mixed with a little vinegar or dish detergent. Let the screens air dry before putting them back on.

Removes dirt and grime from exterior windows. Exterior windows are exposed to all kinds of grease, dirt, contaminants and other materials. For heavily soiled windows, start the cleaning process using a garden hose to remove the top layer of grime from the windows and paneling. Vacuum or dust off interior windows. Make sure you reach all windows, frames, and corners. This will prevent you from simply spreading dirt when cleaning.

Gather supplies and tools. There are a few things you will need to do basic cleaning work on your windows. These are as follows:

  • sponge or brush (or a squeegee)
  • squeegee to dry
  • absorbent microfiber or lint-free cloth
  • a clean rag or cloth
  • bucket filled with cleaning solution
  • large towel to protect internal floors
