Within the facade cladding alternatives, we present Siding Northway, a fiber cement composite material that is characterized by high quality and durability over time for its great resistance to moisture, fire and termites.

In addition to its easy installation, the siding is fireproof, waterproof, does not rot or is affected by fungi or termites. It can be found in different designs and colors and has a very low maintenance cost.

Installation

Siding Northway must be installed on straight wooden feet or metal profiles, separated from each other with a maximum of 60 cm between axles. A wooden base or plate is not required for installation.

 The insulation and bracing of the partition must comply with the requirements of the general building ordinance, this means interior cladding, supporting structure, thermal insulation, moisture barrier and exterior cladding.

For the correct installation it is necessary to take care that the metal profiles or wooden feet that are going to support the cladding are perfectly level and aligned.

If metal moldings are used, they must be mounted before installing the lining. starting with the solera cutter profile, which is at the level of lower hearth or overlapping, and then installing the moldings of the interior and exterior corners.

The assembly of each one of the tables must begin in ascending form, maintaining a vertical overlap of 3 cm between each one.

The joint between boards must coincide alternately on the right feet or metal uprights, in order to avoid two joints in a row on the same right foot.

It is recommended to bevel at 45º with cutting disc or cut with rasp and apply acrylic seal on the butt joints, in order to allow adequate play to the structure.

The fixings must be 25 cm from each edge and must not exceed a distance of 60 cm.

For the terminations, there are a series of accessories that allow solving different meetings, interior, exterior corners, windows and doors.
